Notice of Public Hearing

The City of La Plata will hold a Public Hearing regarding the ½ of 1% Sales Tax Initiative that is on the ballot of the General Election of April 8, 2008. The hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. on April 1, 2008 in the La Plata State Bank conference room

The City will present (1) the reasons for the sales tax initiative, (2) the specific use of revenue generated by the tax (3) basic plan for the Capital Improvement, (4) answer any questions that persons may have regarding the Sales Tax Initiative or the Capital Improvement Plan.

Written comments concerning the Sales Tax Initiative will be received and entered into the public hearing record if received within (7) days after the date of said hearing.
