Public Hearing

Present: Mayor Larry Herron, Alderman Gene Grear, Alderman Trent Perry,

City Administrator Ray Ivy, City Clerk Bobbie Ives, Jim Stewart, Sue Johnson

Mayor Herron called the Public Hearing to order at 6:30 p.m.

The Public Hearing was held on the proposed User Charge Plan for the City of La Plata, Missouri, for the purpose of receiving comments and views of interested persons.

The public hearing is being held in order to (1) explain the proposed User Charge Plan; (2) advise sewer system users of anticipated costs; and (3) answer any questions that persons may have regarding the User Charge Plan.

A copy of the User Charge ordinance is available for public inspection at La Plata City Hall.

Mayor Herron and City Administrator Ray Ivy, reviewed the plans of the second phase sewer project. Mayor Herron, then, discussed the total cost to user for combined phases of the two projects, and amount each user would pay to retire the debt.

There were questions from the audience as well as City officials, and a discussion followed. Project schedule was discussed as were other details.

With no further discussion Mayor Herron closed the Public Hearing at 7:05 p.m.

With no quorum present the Special Meeting scheduled was not held.
